A day delayed due to the cold, we celebrated Earth Day today, potting plants in the sunshine! 🌞

The kids eagerly helped to beautify the school grounds, not to mention, they loved getting muddy hands!

💚 Today, our Mount community witnessed a true masterclass in dedication!

Mr. Gorcyca is the Great-Great Uncle of two of our wonderful students, Maxiene and McKenna, and he has been collecting aluminum pull tabs for over 25 years!

Today, he dropped off a whopping 53 plastic shopping bags filled to the max with shiny aluminum pull tabs! These tabs will go directly toward our “Pull Tabs for Shriners” year-round collection, helping provide essential transportation and medical care for children in need.

We want to give a massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to the Seigle Family, and especially to Mr. Ed Gorcyca for showing us that small acts of kindness, when sustained over time, can make a mountain of difference. We are so blessed to have you as part of our school family!

✨ Shriners Children's Boston collects aluminum pull tabs to raise funds for patient transportation and specialized medical care. The tabs are recycled, and the funds raised support programs for children. You can drop off tabs at local Shriners centers.

✝️It's a glorious Easter Day, for He has Risen!

As we rejoice in this sacred season, let us also pray for peace across the world—peace in our communities, peace in our homes, and peace in every nation. May we be instruments of Christ’s love and bring comfort and unity to those in need.

🏆 🏀 💚 Congratulations to our 5/6 Girls Basketball Team, now officially the 2026 NH CYO State Champions!

Onward to CT for the New England CYO Tournament in March!

Our 5th/6th grade girls basketball team took home the Runner-Up trophy in the CYO basketball championship,

More importantly, they were recognized as the "Most Improved Team" in the league — an incredible accomplishment that reflects their hard work and dedication all season long.

We couldn't be more proud of these girls and thank our coaches and Mount families who fostered this amazing growth.

The turnout at today’s championship game was amazing, and the support for these girls meant so much. Thank you to everyone who showed up and cheered them on.

We are so grateful to our local firefighters for everything they do to keep our community safe, especially over the holidays.

Our students wanted to show a small token of appreciation with some fresh baked breads.

Thank you to the MFD for sharing this image! Our students loved making these, and it means so much to know they will help fill your Thanksgiving table this season.

On Tuesday, students at Mount Saint Mary’s Academy baked breads for the Manchester Fire Department. On Wednesday, Rescue 1 picked up the bread, and they will be distributed to the department’s ten fire stations.

💚 At The Mount, we want our children to feel their voice matters.

Inspired by Election Day, we also host our very own SCHOOL VOTE, encouraging all students and staff to vote on the theme for the annual school dance.

By instilling the importance of voting and encouraging children to practice the habits of participation and civic responsibility, our students are more likely to engage and vote later in life.

Voting for a school dance may seem fun and light, but it’s incredibly meaningful, showing students THEY can help shape their school experience:

🗳️ PLAN & EXECUTE - Make flyers, ballots, voting booths and boxes, pass out stickers

🗳️ LOOK - Look at the options thoughtfully and decide what is most appealing to you!

🗳️ DISCUSS - Encourage others to vote, talk about the options, and “campaign” for your favorite!

🗳️ RESPECT - Respect the outcome even if it’s not what you picked!

🗳️ DESIGN - Be part of the process and most of all, HAVE FUN!

This year we are working to raise money to add improved security measures to our school, which we are affectionately calling “Mission Cookie”. We have put the best SPECIAL AGENTS (students) on the job!

With every purchase, our school receives 40% towards reaching our GOAL of $15K+. This important “mission” will give us extra eyes throughout the building at all times making a major impact on our safety protocol.
