East Catholic is proud to recognize alumnus Officer Dominic “Dom” Marandino ‘09 for his extraordinary courage and selfless service to our community.

This past week, Officer Marandino played a critical role in the rescue of a missing 8-year-old child, navigating dangerous swamp conditions to safely bring the child to safety. This past May, The East Catholic Choral Ensemble competed in the “Fantastic Festivals” Choral competition. This includes an adjudicated performance for a rating, competition against all other choirs throughout New England that participate, as well as a day of fun at Lake Compounce in Bristol. The day of the performance, ECCE received a platinum rating, which is the highest rating a group can achieve. After all performances from all schools were compared after the festival was over, ECCE was presented the trophy for second place overall amongst all schools that participated.

It is hard to believe a whole month has passed since the Class of 1976 gathered together to celebrate their 50th Reunion!

The energy, laughs, and lifelong friendship on display reminded us all what makes the East Catholic community so special. Thank you to everyone who made it such a memorable milestone!

School might be out for summer, but our students never stop giving back!

When the Town of Manchester reached out for help cleaning up after the annual fireworks, these amazing Eagles answered the call. Not only did they help keep our community beautiful, but they’re already getting a head start on their 10 service hours for the 2026-2027 school year!

We are always so proud to see our students step up in the community.
