SNHU Out of the Darkness Walk

On April 5th, SNHU hosted the 9th Annual Out of the Darkness Campus Walk in honor of SNHU alumni Nick Carey. The walk raises funds and awareness for su***de prevention through an organization called the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention (AFSP). Over 200 people gathered on campus and walked the 2 mile path holding up signs of hope and wearing beads to show support for others. With the help of our sponsor, Buffalo Wild Wings, donors, supporters, and a generous match by SNHU, we raised over $25,000! Thanks to the committee and countless others for their hard work to make this happen!

Due to a potential weather conflict, we will be moving our check-in, ceremony, and starting point to the Hospitality Building, which is directly next to the Green Space.

We will have signage directing walkers and supporters to designated parking lots and check-in points.
