Children need to be taught how to pray by the age of seven and be encouraged to pray with their parents. This is a song book to instill the love of Salah during the early years of childhood.

It is so important to teach the true Islamic creed to children even during early years. When we were young our elders used to teach us who is our Rab, what is our religion and who made us? Now alhumdulillah there are books available to introduce Islamic concepts to our young ones and this book is one of them.

I would say jhoolnai is a classic, they have incredible short poems for kids. I like tot batoot the most in this book.

When we were young, we used to have a lot of story books available in Urdu for kids. But now it’s hard to find one. Are there any Urdu publishers who are still making books for kids ?

How important is it to stay connected to your culture? I got these books from Pakistan for my kids. I like the old way of teaching kids alphabets from books. They have pictures with each alphabet which attract children.
