We believe that child development, especially the early years, are tremendously importnat. The first five years of a young child's life is crucial to their development. As an early childhood educator, it is my job to have basic knowledge on how to proceed in facilitating the early childhood educational program. Sheerley Felipe (pronounced like Shirley) is the founder and director of Happy House Childcare Inc. She graduated in May 2007 with an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. Any and all Happy House Staff are certified in adult & pediatric CPR/First Aid
Criminal background and child protective services investigations are conducted on all staff members. Staff members are trained in the following courses sponsored by the VA Department of Social Services and other affiliated companies: M.A.T., Age & stages of development for infants, Activities for infant and toddler, Mother Goose Curriculum, Emergency Preparedness.
