We just received our first book from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library! We are so proud to support the amazing work Dolly did for children everywhere. You will see this special book in our class libraries on our first day of school, September 9th.

We cannot wait to welcome our wonderful students back to the halls. We look forward to nurturing a kind community where our students learn that being a good human is the most important lesson of all ♥️

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library has gifted more than 332 million books to children since she created it 31 years ago.

That is not a branding exercise. It is not a tax dodge dressed up as generosity. It is a lifetime of using extraordinary success to make sure kids—regardless of income, ZIP code, or circumstance—could have books of their own.

She entertained millions, yes. But she also showed up for children, marginalized communities, and people in need again and again. She never had to do any of it. She chose to.

Fun fact: These hit songs were used during music time in Alpha-Bet’s classrooms (via cassette tape, duh) way back when a few of our current members attended the co-op as preschoolers themselves 🙃

We are pretty pumped to have 3 alumni as parents in our community this year! Who thinks it would be fun to learn more about these mamas?!🤷‍♀️🙋‍♀️

Alpha-Bet wouldn’t be what it is today without all of the hard work, patience & passion that she has brought over the years! She single-handedly ran the school, as both teacher and director, through the COVID trenches that tried to shut our doors, and somehow built a stronger and more well-rounded program through it all. We are so lucky to have her as our teacher, mentor and friend! ❤️

A big thank you to Integrated Play Connections Therapy Center, PLLC. for having us as a guest reader this morning! It was so fun to see their space and learn more about what they do to help kids, adolescents & teens in our community!

The Color Monster story was a hit and our little ones had fun jumbling and un-jumbling our emotion coins and practicing self control with Miss Holly’s special bubble freeze game ❤️
