There were no big surprises in Prince William County on Election Day. Democrats were largely reelected in city council races in Manassas, Manassas Park and Dumfries. Democrats also retained control of the Manassas school board.

Thank you, Manassas! I am looking forward to the honor of serving you another 4 years. Additionally, I am looking forward to welcoming school board members-elect Diana for School Board Diana Brown, Dr Zella Jones, and Dayna-Marie Miles. I respect the experience and perspectives they will bring to our School Board.

Thank you to each and every one of you that helped in some way - with encouragement, thoughtful discussion, likes/comments/love/sharing, hosting events, advice, donations, testimonials, texting, calling, writing postcards, endorsements, a kind comment, signs, canvassing, poll greeters, election workers, and VOTERS!

I would also like to thank ALL of the School Board Candidates for running. I sincerely hope you will all stay engaged in MCPS.

Something we learned… Manassas doesn’t stand for hateful rhetoric. Manassas deserves better than dirty politics. INTEGRITY WINS.
