Moe's will give a part of every dollar you spend right back to Benton Middle School.

Come out to eat and don't forget to tell a friend! A GREAT dinner to benefit a GREAT school!

We Hope Your Holidays are Going Great!

Can you believe it's almost 2015?

We hope your holiday break is going well. Just a few more days and we're back at it. We just wanted to give you an update about PTA happenings in the past few weeks and a look toward 2015.

First, a big thanks to the Hospitality Committee and all the incredible volunteers who brought in desserts and drinks for the Benton staff on December 11th. Their thanks are still pouring in, and the event was a big success. Thanks so much for your terrific generosity!

Second, thanks so much to the Corporate Programs Committee for a terrific Box Tops campaign and contest. On December 16th, we delivered a donut breakfast to the four winning homerooms. We followed that up with a Starbucks delivery for the winning teachers. The students and teachers really seemed to enjoy the breakfast (and warm drinks). Thanks to everyone who made the Box Tops campaign a success, and congratulations again to the winning homerooms!

Next, the Benton Bundle Up clothing drive is officially closed. Thanks to everyone for the donations and generosity! We knew we could count on you, and you delivered.

Lastly, we are gearing up for the New Year. We will be meeting on Tuesday, January 13th, at 6:30pm. We would love to see you there. Please be on the lookout for 2015 events and volunteer opportunities like spirit nights, Teacher Appreciation, spring event ticket sales, and more Box Tops!

Our November PTA meeting is coming up! Come join us at BMS on Wednesday, November 12th, at 6:30pm.

We usually meet the first Tuesday of each month but moved this meeting due to Election Day.

We sincerely thank all those who have served or are serving, and we also thank our military families for their constant support!

People Love Ice Cream! Who Knew?

Thanks so much to everyone who came out last week to support the Benton Middle School Library’s Book Fair and the PTA Ice Cream Social! They were both a big hit.

Turnout for the Ice Cream Social was GREAT. We dished out a ton of ice cream! Also, we appreciate the kind donations of delicious toppings and the dollars to offset the ice cream cost.

We want to send a special THANK YOU out to the terrific VOLUNTEERS who manned the Book Fair and the Ice Cream tables. The event was A BIG HIT thanks to you!

PTA Meeting Tonight at 7:00 pm in the School Library! Come on out!

Newcomer's Coffee - Thursday, October 9!

The Benton PTA Hospitality team would like to extend an invitation to new families who have joined our Benton community this year. Whether you are new to the community or just new to Benton MS we would like to welcome you and provide an opportunity to meet each other and to assist making your transition smoother. We are available to answer questions about the community services for your students. We will meet from 10 to 11am at the Panera's on Rte. 234 by Target. This event is sponsored by PTA but not funded.

Check out our terrific Welcome Back Lunch for Benton Teachers! The Hospitality Committee put together a terrific event on August 25th. Thanks to the Subway restaurant on Hoadly Road for donating the subs!

Our last PTA meeting of the year is tomorrow, June 3rd, at 6:00pm at the school. Please come out and lend your voice!
