Stone House Quilters The Stone House Quilters’ Guild was formed in 1994 as an informal gathering of quilters interested in Civil War reproduction quilts.

Since then, the group has expanded its interests to every type of quilt and other fabric arts. The Stone House Quilters Guild has monthly programs, workshops, and includes among its members many talented and gifted quilters. We participate in several community service projects, giving baby blankets to Prince William Hospital, lap blankets to Annaburg Manor, and larger quilts to the Prince William County Police Department for children in trauma. In the wake of the Katrina disaster, members have donated quilts to Quilts International to be distributed to Katrina evacuees.

Stone House lets loose 4 time a year at the Manassas Hilton Garden Inn. This hotel has the perfect facility for quilters to spend time together over a long weekend. Thank you to Hilton for being a great partner for Stone House as we bond and grow into a productive charitable organization.
Stone House always welcome new members to help us achieve our goals each year. Meetings w pro presenters, retreats(local and away), day trips, local Parade float, annual quilt show, classes, fun social events...you name it...we have a GREAT time!

Fall is in the air and that can only mean, the Stone House Quilters Quilt Show is behind us, and we regroup to begin planning for 2027.
A little time off as many of our member set off to various retreats and take a break from the work portion of the guild, and set sights on personal sewing and time with family and friends. Now is the perfect time to look back and thank the quilting community that supports our guild!
The 2026 Show was a huge success, with more vendors, more, quilts, better displays, much larger attendance, and a great response to our raflle quilt. We couldn't have done it without the members, and of course all of the attendees who traveled from near and very-very far to attend.! We hope you enjoyed the show, and will again put us on your calendar for 2027!
Each year we award Viewers Choice ribbons selected by the visitors who turn in their favorites list, and 1 special quilt chosen by the standing Manassas Mayor. Here are those winners!

We've finally made it to QUILT SHOW DAY! Friday and Saturday we have a great show for you in Manassas Va.
Come see demos and presentations, a buy it now boutiqe crammed w hand made goods.A raffle quilt with tickets , and a vast silent auction. More vendors than ever before will keep you busy between all the scheduled daily events. Entry is just $10 with children under 12 no cost....and of course Quilts Quilts Quilts!!!
This annual show funds the massive quantity of of charitable gifts we bestow on surrounding communities. Won't you bring friends and family ?

This past year has flown by, and here we are just weeks aways from our Stone House Quilters annual Quilt Show! Our guild holds this show as our annual fund raiser that supplies the revenue to allow us to serve so many charities in Prince William, Manassas City and Manassas Park Va.
Our near 100 members work tirelessly to create an amazing show filled with beautiful quilts, demonstrations, vendors, silent auction, a boutique full of hand made items as well as challenge and groups of quilts that support our charity partners. See student quilts made by children we teach to sew, as well as patriotic veteran award quilts through Willing Warriors and more. Annually we also create a beautiful raffle quilt that you can take a chance on. Tickets just $1 each, or 6 for $5.
Our show is held AUGUST 28-29 at the Manassas Boys and Girls Club located at 9501 Dean Park Lane in Manassas Va.
Admission is $10, childern under 12 no cost. !

As a 501C3, Stone House Quilter's mission, revolves around charitable acts and promotion of the art of quilting.
Recently our incredible Community Service Chair, Brenda Baughman traveled to Strasburg VA with members Anne and Deby, to present over 20 quilts to Sleep in Heavenly Peace. An organization that vows no child sleeps on the floor, it provides beds, mattresses, sheets and pillows to needy children across the country. This local chapter had a "Build a Bed"event, so it was the perfect opportunity to present the icing on the cake by delivering quilts to top off these beautiful new beds.
Employees from local businesses in the area are essentially donated during working hours by partnering corporations to support this incredible program. Station after station of skilled folks prepped and worked on each stage of the beds manufacting, and they assembled dozens of beautiful new beds in one day. On this day, employees from a local quarry learned some woodsmithing skills!
Cutting and prepping wood parts, sanding, drilling, staining, assembly, and last but not least, and actual Branding of SHP on the bed frame to sign their work. Each volunteer was given a small block also branded as a momento to reflect on their participation in this heartfelt event.
We hope you enjoy the photos and can see the progression of each piece of furniture.
Stone House accepts donations in many forms to support the wonderful charities we partner with. Fabric, batting, thread are always graciously accepted by Stone House to create these keepsakes that fill the heart of each recipient. We're already working on the next group of quilts to present!!
