✨ The Dot: We Can Do Hard Things! 🎨

Our 2nd graders had so much fun creating their very own dot art after reading The Dot during our module lesson! 🔵🟢🟡

Through this story, students learned an important lesson: sometimes we may think we can’t do something, but all we have to do is TRY! 💪🏼❤️ Our students discovered that taking that first step can turn “I can’t” into “I CAN!” 🌟

We are so proud of their creativity, courage, and willingness to try something new! 🎨👏🏼

Mrs. Autumn’s 2nd grade students had a hands-on learning experience as they practiced classifying objects by shape, size, and color! 🔵🔺🟨

Working together in groups, students sorted and organized their objects based on different attributes. Then, they took what they discovered and mimicked their classifications onto paper! 📝

We loved seeing our students collaborate, think critically, and explain how they decided where each object belonged. What a fun way to learn! 💚🐻

Ms. Misti and her students enjoyed making pudding just like Julien and his father did in Chapter 1 of Julien Tells. The past 7 days have been spent figuring out each students learning styles. Gustatory is in the lead followed by tactical and visual.

Today in Mrs. Tressa’s Kindergarten class, our little learners practiced what it means to share with care! 🥰 We learned that sharing means taking turns, being kind, and making sure everyone gets a chance to play and learn. 🧸✨

Our kindergarteners are learning that kind hearts and helping hands make our classroom a happy place! 💕🌈

📚✨ Building Fluent Readers! ✨📚

Mrs. Autumn’s 2nd graders are becoming word-reading experts! 🧠💪 Today, our students practiced mapping CVC words into word chains, changing one sound at a time to build new words.

This hands-on practice is helping our readers strengthen their phonics skills, recognize words quickly and effortlessly, and build the fluency they need to become confident readers! 📖❤️
