Day 2 of the WDS Shavuot Scholarship Campaign is here!

We woke up inspired by the incredible generosity of our community. Thanks to more than 200 donors, we've already reached 63% of our goal! 💙

This year's theme, מה רבו מעשיך ה׳ | How Wondrous Are Your Creations, reminds us that education begins with wonder!! Wonder in Torah, discovery, growth, and connection.

Every day at WDS, students ask big questions, discover new passions, and strengthen their connection to Jewish life, Israel, and one another.

Your support helps make those moments possible for more children by funding scholarships and keeping a WDS education accessible to families across our community.

💙 Day 1 Recap | Shavuot Scholarship Campaign

What an incredible start.

Thanks to 185 generous donors, we’ve already raised over $420,000 - reaching 60% of our goal in just the first 24 hours!

We are deeply grateful for this outpouring of support and WDS pride.

There is still more to do — and just 24 hours remain. Every gift is being matched 1:1, doubling its impact for our students and families.

Yesterday, we marched together.

Students, parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty, and friends - filling the streets with pride, ruach, and a deep love for Israel and the Jewish people.

Days like yesterday remind us what makes WDS so special.

We are more than a school. We are a community.

And today, that same community comes together for another important purpose.

So happy to be back in our garden with warmer weather!

Last week, our students and Farmer Shimon learned about our obligations to those less fortunate. They specifically spoke about the requirements to leave the edge of a field (pe’ah) and the gleanings (leket).

Students then remove roots from a summer bed, aerated a new potato bed, and spinach, flowers, rosemary, and strawberries.
