The PACE Program at Mamaroneck High School proudly presents our Soundscapes performance running December 4, 5, and 6 at 7pm in the PACE Theater (Palmer side of the building). In addition, we have a FREE Sensory and Family-Friendly performance on Saturday, December 6th at 1pm.

Soundscapes showcases student composers, diverse musical styles, and contrasting musical techniques. This year’s show features music from a variety of artists including Whitney Houston, Maroon 5, Tears For Fears, Billy Joel, The Killers, and Blondie as well as music from movies and Broadway musicals including Rent, Hercules, Zombies, and Beauty and the Beast! The show will also feature a special performance by the PACE 4 Music class.

It’s National Arts in Education Week 🎭🎶🎨 — and while the arts are alive every week here in Mamaroneck Schools, we popped in to see what was happening in a few MHS classrooms:

✨ In PACE 4 Dance, students rehearsed with Ms. Parsley for one of their upcoming Senior Dance Night pieces.
✨ In Music 4, Mr. Derby kicked things off with a deep dive into old vinyl records (yes, actual records on a turntable!)—spinning The Doors before shifting to Sondheim.
✨ In Art Foundations, Mr. Rizzuti introduced the concept of Balance—a principle of design. Students explored symmetrical vs. asymmetrical balance by creating striking black-and-white collages with geometric shapes.
