🏐❤️Malvern’s Volleyball Team showed a lot of heart tonight coming back from a 2-0 deficit to force a 5th game in the season opener against the Lisbon Blue Devils. The Hornets lost 15-11 in the deciding set at home. The JV’s lost in 2 games. Malvern will host St. Thomas Aquinas tomorrow night at 5:30 to try to get that first victory of the season.🐝🐝🐝

🏐🐝Malvern’s Middle School Volleyball Teams went on the road and defeated the Newcomerstown Trojans in straight sets to win their first games of the season. The 7th Grade won 25-23 and 25-19, while the 8th grade won 25-18 and 25-11. The Hornets 8th Grade host Fairless on Saturday at 10.

Meet one for the 2026/2026 cross country year is in the books!

The hornets ran great at the Harrier Hustle one mile relay at Tusky Valley!

We always love to start at this race! Its a great warm up to the season and helps with speed work! To see how the kids progress each year is impressive.

The lady hornets were led by Emma Maher. Olivia Maher had the 2nd best mile time and Lexus Buchman and Annabell Renz showed great improvements in time from the past 2 seasons! Newcomers Scarlett McLoughlin and EV Abramides rounded out the girls team showing great effort in their first official race!

The hornet boys also showed improvement at this meet over the last 2 years. First for the boys was Cooper Dorr with Jacob McClelland and Dekon Pennington finishing with the same time! Andersen Myer really showed progress today and Parker Babiczuk rounded out the hornet runners improving on his time from last year!

The Middle School Hornets got their first taste of Cross Country at the Tusky Valley Harrier Hustle!

Congratulations to the dynamic duo Charlee and Ashlynne who took first place in the middle school girls division!

This was an awesome start to the season. It was the first cross country experience for most of our 9 runners. Everyone put in a great performance and were excited to see what this group can do the rest of the season.

Missy’s birthday wish came true as the Hornets remained even “Kiehl” as they defeated Sandy Valley 159 - 191 to improve to 8 - 2 on the season.

Taking the cake was Senior Cooper Kiehl shooting a two under par 33. Pinning the tale on the donkey was Junior Ayden Pelle darting a 38. The Senior tandem of Tyler Pelle and Parker Bowe teamed up to break open the piñata hitting a pair of 44’s.
