Another successful Prep Prospects Summer Camp in the books. We had a great time with this crew all week long! Thank you to the campers for coming out and working with us, we hope you had as much fun as we did. Thank you, parents, for signing your sons up and being flexible with pickup/dropoff as we navigated around a busy week at the complex. Thank you Newtown Edgmont Little League for allowing us to use your outstanding complex. And thank you to our staff for all your work with the campers throughout the week. We hope everyone everyone had a blast and look forward to seeing you back next summer!

Another day, another honor for our guy ‘21 Fran Oschell of Duke University. The Franimal was just named 3rd team All American by Baseball America

2023 College Baseball All-Americans: First, Second, Third Teams Baseball America presents its 2023 College All-America teams, which include 20 players who competed in the College World Series.

Congrats to our guy ‘24 Tague Davis on being selected to play in the High School All American Game!

Kudos to our ‘23 team on being recognized by Perfect Game as the top team in the state of PA

Congrats to alum ‘21 Fran Oschell on Duke’s win yesterday. Not only are they now one win away from the College World Series but Fran also took home the win on the mound in relief throwing 2.2ip of scoreless ball.

Also wanted to share the following feel good moment from last weekend as those who know him would probably say ‘that’s just Fran being Fran’. But to this young fan, I’m sure it meant the world to him. Well done, Fran 👏

This is the program’s 9th state title since 2006 and the 7th in the last 10 trips to the title game!

Friars (27-6) win 13-5 over Penn Charter to punch their 🎟️ to the PAISA Final where they will take on a red hot Perkiomen School (11-1 winners over Chestnut Hill).

This is the Friars 10th straight appearance in the championship game and they will try to capture their 7th Championship of this run

In his previous outing, ‘23 Charlie Oschell joined the 100 career strikeout club. He’s the first to reach this milestone since 2021 when his older brother Fran achieved the career feat and just the 4th pitcher to do so since 2018. Congratulations Chuck!

Well it wasn’t exactly how we drew it up but with Chestnut Hill Academy’s loss to Penn Charter earlier this week our 2023 Friars clinched a share of the Inter Academic League championship.

This is the program’s 25th league title and 10th in the past 13 seasons.

Congratulations to all our players, coaches, and families!

The team wraps up regular season schedule tonight taking on the Chesmont League Champs, Coatesville, on the road under the lights at 645pm before opening up the PAISA State Tournament next Tuesday at Home 4pm against the winner of Episcopal Academy vs Mercersburg Academy

Congrats to Friar alum ‘20 Drew Butera on being named Franklin & Marshall’s Most Outstanding Player this season! Drew was top 5 in basically every single offensive category for the Diplomats including team leading .353avg and .552slugging 👀.

Way to go, Drew! We’re all very proud of you and congrats on a fantastic Junior season

With their win today and Chestnut Hill’s victory, the Friars and Blue Devils will play this Friday in a rare true championship game for the Inter Ac 👑. The Friars hope to sweep the season series and lock up another championship at home. Come on out and cheer them on at 4pm Friday!

Really proud of our guy, Mason Clark ‘24, for his work with Project Beisbol and another Friar Baseball alum Justin Halladay. Mason and others recently travelled to Brazil to film a documentary about Project Beisbol as part of an independent study. Not only did he get to utilize his skills and passion as a film student but he also got impact the lives of both baseball and softball players along the way. Well done, Mase.
