The battle against Ohio State is a little over a week away and we can't wait to experience all the fun and excitemnet of the Tailgate on November 1 . Hopefully, our Nittany Lions find the end zone a few more times than those Buckeyes.

One person who knows a thing or two about finding the end zone is former Penn State Tight End Tyler Warren. And you can take home this signed picture of the All-American as part of our silent auction on game day.

All proceeds from the auction benefit Penn State Great Valley Student Scholarships.

Meet Lauren Denson, MBA’24. Lauren was one of the recipients of the Alumni Achievement Scholarship for the 2024-25 academic year. Lauren was kind enough to share with us what receiving the Alumni Achievement Scholarship meant for her:

“The Alumni Achievement Scholarship that I received provided me the flexibility to work part-time so that I had the adequate time and necessary attention to dedicate towards obtaining my MBA within one and a half years. Without this, I likely would have needed additional time to obtain my degree. I greatly appreciate the Alumni Society and their graciousness in offering myself and other students scholarships. I know myself and many other students would not have the opportunity to further our educations without scholarships, so I greatly value this generosity.”

It was a tough one Saturday night, but it hasn’t dampened our outlook for the Tailgate on November 1.

Today, we’re proud to feature a unique donation – this roughly 18” bronze replica JoePa statue. Special thank you to Inspired Passion for this great item. The owner, John, is a passionate Penn State Football fan and supports Penn State causes as much as possible.

As we draw closer to the Tailgate on November 1, our excitement is growing! Maybe it's the White Out energy. Perhaps it's the numerous organizations that generously donate items to our auction to raise funds for Penn State Great Valley student scholarships.

The first of many generous donors we will be featuring is Pennsylvania Distilling Company. Pennsylvania Distilling Company, located in the heart of Malvern, follows old-fashioned principles to make spirits sourced from local farms.

The award-winning Penn State Great Valley Alumni Society Benefit Tailgate is back for 2025. This annual event brings together Penn Staters from across the region in support of a great cause, the Penn State Great Valley student scholarships.

Join us for a Saturday afternoon as we cheer on our Nittany Lions as they battle the Buckeyes (and hopefully hand them a loss).
