In Ms. Cronin's Honors Introduction to Engineering class, students were challenged to build bridges out of a maximum of 200 popsicle sticks and hot glue and then test the strength of their structures. Extra credit was awarded if a student was able to stand on her bridge without it collapsing.

Join us in congratulating Villa Maria senior Reagan Duffy on being named a 2024 National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist. Reagan is one of approximately 16,000 Semifinalists who have the opportunity to continue in the competition. According to the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, the pool of Semifinalists represents less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors and includes the highest-scoring entrants in each state. Finalists will be announced in spring.
