On Thursday, members of the Class of 2024 took part in a 10-Mile Walk for Water Challenge. The purpose was to experience the hardships so many people around the globe endure for access to clean water and food for their families. We aim to have all capable members of the Class of 2024 complete the 10-mile Water Walk Challenge.

Shadow Days offer prospective students the chance to experience a day in the life of a Malvern Prep Friar! It's an opportunity to connect with students, faculty, and staff and experience first-hand the vibrant Malvern Prep Community.

6th graders are writing their personal narratives and worked together by participating in a "speed dating" brainstorm session. Rotating through different prompts, student pairs each took one minute to answer brainstorming questions. Next week, they select their narrative topics!

The Sophomore Class had a great day yesterday, participating in the 10th Grade Olympics! Each student competed in two field-day style events with their homeroom. The homeroom that earned the most points won the coveted 10th Grade Cup. Congratulations to this year’s winning homeroom, Mr. Burke and Mrs. Wolstenholme!

Today, Middle School students attended the first meeting of the Middle School Microcourse “Ecology on the Fly - Learn to Fly Fish.” This experience is being led by Grey Graham '24, with help from other high school students who fly fish. Today’s participants learned about the different types of flies and when you would use them. Next week, they will take their new skills out to Black Friar Pond!

30 Middle School students participated in a virtual field trip yesterday titled Los Veteranos: Latinos in WWII through the National World War II Museum for Hispanic Heritage Month. Students learned about Latino WWII heroes and average soldiers, as well as Latinos on the Home Front.
