We are grateful to the 11 Chapter members who have supported Adopt an Angel this year. We have 9 more angels available, so there’s still an opportunity to sign up.

Our Chapter was proud to be part of Boxes to Boots Operation Cares. We packed 12 of the 1200+ care packages that will be sent to our troops overseas.
The Chapter also donated $1,000 to help with shipping costs.

The CT Chapter was awarded a 2023 Helping Hands Award for its February education event. Helping Hands awards acknowledge chapters that work together.

In anticipation of our 75th Anniversary Conferment on Sept 28, our CT Chapter is introducing some of the new designees.

Today we'd like to introduce Jason Zylberman, CPCU.
Jason was born and raised in CT, earning both his Bachelors and Masters at UConn focused in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). GIS allowed him to get his foot in the door into the Property & Casualty insurance world where he was able to leverage his skills as a GIS analyst within personal lines insurance. Since then, he’s focused on Product Management, and most recently became a Home Product Development Manager at an Insurtech called Toggle within Farmers Insurance.
As someone with a formal educational background in GIS and Environmental Science, he pursued the CPCU designation so that he could develop his Business and Insurance knowledge. He considered completing the CPCU equivalent to earning a Master’s in insurance.
The knowledge he gained while studying for and completing CPCU has allowed him to become a well-rounded insurance professional. He hopes to continue to advance his career and become a leader in the field, leveraging his unique background in GIS with the new P&C business practices learned while achieving this designation.
