We're sad to share the news that one of our fellow CPCU members, Howard Candage, passed away last week. For those of you who did not know Howard, he was an important contributor to our industry. He offered his services as a consultant to the insurance industry since 1996 and was known for his contributions to the Maine CPCU Chapter, including the creation of the Maine Chapter Eagle of Excellence Award (now known as the Lee Allen President's Award for Excellence). In fact, he was a recipient of this award in 2006, just over 10 years after its original creation.
If you would like to make a donation to help ease the financial burden of his untimely passing, please visit https://www.gofundme.com/f/in-memory-of-howard-candage.
