Adirondack Learning Academy Adirondack Learning Academy provides online curriculum for K-12 homeschool students.

Adirondack Learning Academy is committed to providing a positive learning environment that encourages success through individualized instruction for homeschooling students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. Our program recognizes that each child is an individual and that all children need to feel successful in order to succeed. We believe learning is optimal when it takes place in an environment enriched with support, encouragement and assistance. Each student will develop the skills necessary for achievement in higher education, and establish a life-long love for learning. We aim to have our parents and teachers actively involved in our students’ learning.

Fall math fun! Use a 30cm pumpkin for the Sun and scale every planet down by the same ratio, divide each planet's real diameter by the Sun's diameter, then multiply by 300 mm. Pluto would be only about 0.5 mm across - about the size of a grain of sugar!
