Pepperdine Student Employment The Student Employment Office of Pepperdine University serves both students and supervisors in the on-campus and the off-campus employment process.

Our office is located in TCC 210 (Tyler Campus Center). We are open Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. The Student Employment Office of Pepperdine University exists to serve both students and supervisors in the on-campus and the off-campus employment process. As a co-curricular activity and an integral part of the total education experience, student employment should teach students essential skills

such as punctuality, dependability and personal responsibility, provide opportunities for career exploration and resume building, networking, and should prepare students for lives of service, purpose and leadership. Description:

This week’s is Elliot Palatnik! Majoring in Screenwriting and currently working as a writing consultant, Elliot would like to work as a screenwriter someday. His employer stated, "Elliot is our most senior student employee and has been working with us for almost two academic years now. He has worked very hard to continually update his skills and knowledge to support the students he tutors. The tutees are very pleased with Elliot’s tutoring abilities, and often comment on his ability to create a safe space for discussion, to simplify confusing concepts, and to provide great suggestions for how to word long, complicated sentences. He always seeks to ensure students leave their tutoring session with progress made on their assignment and that they have more confidence in the material." Congratulations Elliot!
