The grouping of multi disciplinary works by Thomas Campbell that now grace our exhibition space run gauntlet of paintings, Lino cuts, photographs, sculpture in bronze and ceramic as well as sewn paper quiltages. Roughly half of the pieces have some relation to Campbell’s most recent feature length water sliding film “Yi-Wo”,,, the other do not.

“Yi-Wo” works by Thomas Campbell on display at the Brothers Marshall Malibu Surf Shop / Community Center on view until 8/3/26. DM or email for price list and details.

Last month, Uncle Christian Beamish came south to the BM Malibu Surf Shop / Community Center’s shaping bae , crafting some beautiful blades for us! They’ll be available on the rack any day now, just in time for another month of Super El Niño south swellage!

We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Mr. Beamish. Back in the early 2000s, while he was in cahoots with Scott Hulet at The Surfer's Journal … He green lit a profile on the Bros written by Jamie Brisick , which gave us some credibility in the surf community. Truly we felt we were not worthy but in true Malibu fashion we scammed our way in there… 20 years later we are still here… Still Valley Kook long boarders … and thriving with our surf shop / community center right across from the beach in Malibu. Thank you for all your support, Mr. Beamish!
