Boys Tennis Competes for the Division 4 State Championship This Saturday!

The Mystic Valley Boys Tennis Team is headed to the MIAA Division 4 State Championship for the first time in school history! The Eagles will face Hamilton-Wenham on Saturday, June 13, at 4:30 PM at the MIT duPont Tennis Courts in Cambridge with a state title on the line. Let's fill the stands, wear your maroon and gold, and cheer on the Eagles as they compete for the Division 4 crown!🏆

Student of the Week

On Friday evening, Mystic Valley Regional Charter School proudly celebrated the Class of 2026, honoring a remarkable group of graduates whose hard work, leadership, and achievements have left a lasting impact on our school community.

Ninety graduates crossed the stage surrounded by family, friends, faculty, and staff, marking the culmination of years of dedication and the beginning of an exciting new chapter. The ceremony featured remarks from school leaders, Valedictorian Martin Vedrashko, Salutatorian Kevin Sodeyama-Cardoso, and commencement speaker Dr. Finny Kuruvilla, Founder and President of Sattler College.

As each student received their diploma, cheers from loved ones filled the air, celebrating not only their success but also the bright futures that await them. As members of the Class of 2026 join the ranks of Mystic Valley alumni, they move forward to pursue opportunities in higher education, trade programs, and careers across a wide range of fields. We are incredibly proud of all you have accomplished and look forward to seeing the impact you will make in the years ahead. Congratulations, Class of 2026! 🎾 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP BOUND! 🎾

The Mystic Valley Eagles are headed to the MIAA Division 4 Boys Tennis State Championship! The Eagles continued their historic postseason run with a thrilling 3–2 victory over Cohasset in the State Semifinals, earning a spot in the championship match and moving one step closer to a state title. Congratulations to Head Coach Stacy Smith and the entire Eagles tennis program on this incredible achievement!

🧬🐸 Grade 9 biology students put their scientific skills into practice this week through frog dissections. Students explored the anatomy of frogs firsthand, gaining a deeper understanding of the structure and function of major organ systems while developing important laboratory and dissection techniques.

Last week, we celebrated our student-athletes at the annual Varsity Athletic Banquet! 👏🏆

The evening recognized the dedication, perseverance, and achievements of our athletes throughout the 2025–2026 athletic year. A special congratulations goes to Anna Batista, who was honored with the prestigious Overall Eagle Award, a well-deserved recognition of her outstanding contributions and accomplishments.

With a dominant 4–1 victory over Lenox in Thursday's Elite Eight matchup, the Eagles became the first varsity team in school history to advance to the Final Four of an MIAA State Tournament. This landmark achievement marks a historic moment for Mystic Valley Athletics and is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent of this exceptional team.

🏃‍♀️🎉 Congratulations to Lucia Antonucci on an outstanding performance at the MIAA Division 6 State Track & Field Championships!
🏅 4th Place – 400-Meter Dash (Personal Record: 1:00.11)
🏅 11th Place – 100-Meter Dash (13.26)

Lucia's fourth-place finish in the 400-meter dash and personal-best time of 1:00.11 earned her a qualifying spot in the MIAA Meet of Champions at Merrimack College. There, she will compete against the top athletes from every division across the Commonwealth while proudly representing Mystic Valley on one of the state's biggest stages. Congratulations, Lucia, on an incredible season and an outstanding State Championship performance. Good luck this weekend at the Meet of Champions! 🦅
