The Project Blackout tshirt deadline is fast approaching! Let's go MC! Tshirts are on sale now through 8/8: https://mcprojectblackout2026.itemorder.com/shop/home/
The Blackout t-shirts have become much more than just a shirt or a ticket to a football game. They are a powerful symbol of community spirit and support for local children and families who have had to endure all that comes with a cancer diagnosis. Participating towns/schools encourage everyone to wear their t- shirt on the day of the Blackout Football Game to demonstrate unity and raise awareness. T-shirts from previous years are usually seen all over the schools/towns for the weeks leading up to the Blackout day and often become beloved parts of children’s wardrobes. Thousands of t-shirts are sold each year.

Project Blackout: Turn Out the Lights on Childhood Cancer
Started in Windham, NH, Project Blackout is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization on a mission to turn out the lights on pediatric cancer – raising awareness of pediatric cancer and inspiring community-driven support for children who are battling the disease. According to the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), the Northeast’s childhood cancer rate is “significantly” higher statistically than the United States as a whole, and the elevated risk warrants continued attention. Started in honor of Cole Stoddard, who died of neuroblastoma at the age of five, Project Blackout aims to unite local towns and schools to educate communities, raise funds for research and support those affected by pediatric cancer through athletics and youth-centric grassroots efforts. Project Blackout donates the proceeds to support pediatric cancer research at Boston Children's Hospital and Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD), and participating communities can also choose local charities tied to childhood cancer.
Our T-Shirts:
At the core of Project Blackout’s annual awareness campaigns is the Blackout T-shirt, and a new logo is created for it each year. The annual Blackout Cancer t-shirt sales, the primary fundraising drive for the organization, are an integral part of its annual push to raise awareness of pediatric cancer and show support for local families.
