Remembering Mr Appleyard, MHS Class of 1969, Head Class Advisor.
As we entered HS, he too, was a young and a 1st year teacher at MHS. He guided us through the many activities of dances, Junior variety, class elections, class trip, prom, senior banquet and graduation. As Class Vice President, I had the opportunity to know our Advisor, he was kind and patient. My high school years are recalled with a smile and I appreciate the time and dedicated teacher(s) that invested in our time.
Rest Easy and a huge Thank You for the memories, Mr Appleyard. It was bittersweet, saying goodbye to high school days, friends, classmates and special teachers, as we ventured into our futures.
Now, Mr Appleyard, we are grandparents, great grandparents and wish you the final goodbye, fly high…assignment completed, well done.
