Despite the snow this morning, spring is right around the corner. Get a head start on spring cleaning by decluttering. Donate gently used items to the ELC's yard sale.

The Malden's City Wide Community Yard Sale is happening April 25, 2026 from 8AM–2PM, and we want YOU involved!

You know that drum set your little one HAD to have but is now collecting dust in the corner? The 47 stuffed animals taking over their bedroom? The noisy toys from well-meaning aunties that are driving you insane? The clothes they outgrew but hardly wore? Bestie.... IT IS TIME TO DECLUTTER!

Here's how you can get involved:

🏡 HOST YOUR OWN SALE!
Register to sell from your home OR grab a table at one of the participating schools: ELC, Forestdale, or Beebe. Set up, sell your stuff, and go home lighter. It's just a $10 donation to participate.

Register by March 31, 2026 using the QR code on the flyer or at:

📦 JUST WANT TO DONATE?
No time or motivation to sell? No problem! Donate your gently used items to the PTO and we'll do the selling for you. All proceeds go straight to community events and classroom supplies!

Donation drop-offs will be held at the ELC on Friday, April 17th. Email [email protected] to schedule your drop-off time.

⏰ Don't wait — registration closes March 31st!

P.S. You're going to want to make room anyway… who can resist a good yard sale browse on April 25th? 😉

What an incredible Mid-Year Celebration! Thank you to everyone who joined us — your presence made the night so special!

A huge thank you to all the families who purchased raffle items and tickets. Because of your generosity, this event was a true financial success!

We also want to give some very special shoutouts:

⭐ Mayor Gary Christenson for rolling up his sleeves and jumping right in to help us feed everyone. We love a mayor who shows up!

⭐ Ward 5 School Committee Member Elizabeth Hortie-Souders for donating a much-needed reusable water jug. Such a thoughtful and practical gift! We'll have it at every event so bring your water bottles.

⭐ Mike, our amazing custodian, you are truly one of a kind. No matter how much we threw at you tonight, you handled it with grace and zero complaints. We are so grateful for you!

⭐ Mr. Alex, our new permanent principal, thank you for being such a wonderful partner to the PTO. We're so glad to have you!

Kindergarten info session tonight!!

Happening Tonight!!!

Do you have a student who will be 5 years old by August 31, 2026? Do you have questions about registering for Kindergarten?

Come to our community information session about Kindergarten registration on March 5, 2026 with drop in hours from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Salemwood School.

District staff will be available to answer your questions about registration and Kindergarten in the Malden Public Schools!
