All Malden Public School families are invited to join the Title 1 department tonight, Wednesday, December 7th for a free magic show by professional magician Mike Bent. The show will take place at the Malden High School Jenkins Auditorium at 6pm.
Please note that all students must be accompanied by an adult and that no food or drink will be served at this event.
All students in attendance will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win some free books.
We hope to see you tonight for a magically fun time!

Hello Linden Families. Tonight, Wednesday April 6, MPS Title 1 will be hosting Bingo for Books, where students will have fun playing Bingo for a chance to win a new book. This event will take place in the Linden cafeteria. A snack and drink will be provided.
Due to the great turnout at our last event, we will be hosting two different sessions tonight. To help ensure that all students have a chance to participate, please attend only one time slot. Families can choose to attend either from 5:00pm to 6:00pm or from 6:30pm-7:30pm.
All students must be accompanied by an adult. This event is free and open to all Linden Families.

Hello Malden K-12 families and caregivers. Please join us tonight, Wednesday, February 9th, from 6:00-7:00pm for a virtual 'Caregiver Cyber Security Workshop' hosted by the Title I Department, in conjunction with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s office. The AG’s Community Engagement Unit will hold an informational presentation and facilitate a Q&A Session detailing how to protect your children from cyber bullying as well as how to promote safe policies around technology at home.

Hello Malden Public School Families. We are excited to invite all Malden Public School's K-12 Parents and Caregivers to our virtual Cyber Safety Workshop. The Attorney General's Office will lead an informative presentation on ways to help protect your students from cyber bullying and how to promote safe technology use at home.
A link to the presentation, which will take place on Wednesday, February 9th from 6:00pm-7:00pm, will be posted on our page as well as on the Malden Public Schools website on the day of the event.

Hello Malden K-8 families and caregivers. This is reminder that the Title I department is hosting a 'Caregiver Math Night' tonight, Tuesday, December 7th, from 6:00-7:30pm at the Salemwood School Cafeteria and Gym. ALL MPS families are invited to attend. Please note, masks are required for admittance to the event. Pizza and drinks will be served at the beginning of the event. Children will then be provided with a puppet show while caregivers rotate around centers led by our district Math coaches about how to support K-8 students with Eureka Math, IXL, and other Math activities at home. Free Math manipulatives, books, and other resources will be provided to families at the end of the night! We hope to see you there!

Salemwood families, please join us for a free caregiver breakfast, tomorrow morning, Tuesday, November 16th, at 8:15am. Following COVID-19 protocols, the event will be held outside the school, by the bottom of the stairs, on the back plaza. The topic of the breakfast workshop will center around how to log on and use the district's instructional technology and assessment platforms at home. Feel free to bring along a mobile device, such as a phone, laptop, or iPad with you to follow along with us. Coffee and pastries will be served. We look forward to seeing you there!

Beebe Families, please join us tomorrow, Thursday, November 4th at 8:15 am for a free Caregiver Workshop titled Navigating Technology and Assessment Platforms. We will discuss how to utilize sites such as Aspen, Clever and i-Ready. The workshop will take place outside on the front plaza after the children have entered to building.
We encourage folks to bring their device from home, as log-in techniques for these programs can vary between devices and families may find it most helpful to learn how to navigate on their specific device.
Coffee and pastries will be served and as always, you will leave with a free book for your child.

Forestdale Families, we hope you will join us tonight, Thursday, October 21st, for Family Zumba Night!
**Please note, the event has been moved indoors. Masks will be required.**
All K-8 students and their families are invited to join us for this free event. You'll enjoy a family-friendly Zumba class with Instructor Aimee Borda, of NuShape Personal Training. Work out to your favorite music while getting fit and developing confidence and coordination.
Pizza will be served before the workout and each student will go home with a free book.
**As with all our Family Night events, students must be accompanied by an adult to attend.**
