What does it look like to live out your faith?

This summer, a group of our students traveled to Honduras alongside Orangewood Church to serve families in rural villages on a medical mission trip. Whether helping at medical clinics, leading activities for children, or building relationships with families, students had the opportunity to serve others while sharing the love of Christ.

Reflecting on the experience, Sam shared, "Seeing the joy and gratitude of the people we met reminded me that God works through simple acts of kindness." From villages high in the mountains to communities across the lake, they witnessed firsthand how God can work through both physical care and spiritual encouragement.

As a ministry of Orangewood Church, we are grateful for opportunities like these that help students grow in their faith and see how God is working around the world.

Preparing students to transform the world for Christ includes helping them develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to thrive.

The Spring 2026 MAP Assessment results show Orangewood students in grades 2-6 scoring above the national average in both Math and Reading across every grade level.

At the elementary level, 10-12 MAP points typically represent about one year of academic growth. The differences shown here are a meaningful indicator of student achievement.

We celebrate the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and the partnership of our families as we continue pursuing excellence together.

Welcome home, Mrs. Brightman!

We are so thankful for her time serving in Kenya alongside Mission Maasai and for the many ways God worked through her during the trip.

One of her favorite parts of the journey was leading music during VBS and worshiping alongside the children. When reflecting on her experience, she shared that the most impactful part was "the love and gratitude showered on us."

Mrs. Brightman also had the opportunity to help distribute the blankets Orangewood students created during Spiritual Emphasis Day. Watching those gifts reach women at Empukani Primary School serves as a beautiful reminder that God can use even small acts of service to make a lasting impact around the world.

What if play isn't a break from learning?

It's where creativity is sparked, confidence is built, teamwork is practiced, and friendships are formed.

Today we're celebrating International Day of Play and the joy, growth, and memories that happen when students are given the freedom to play.

Take a look at some of our favorite moments from this school year. ➡️

A little mail can go a long way. 💌

Growing up as the daughter of a Christian camp director and pastor, Mrs. Miller spent 21 years living at a summer camp and knows how special it can be to receive a handwritten note. That's why one of her favorite summer traditions is surprising Orangewood students attending camp with a card in the mail.

If your child will be attending an overnight summer camp this summer and would like to receive a note from Mrs. Miller, please send the camp mailing address, dates, and your child's name to [email protected].

She would love to brighten their day with a little mail from their Orangewood family.
