Young World Day School, Not-for-Profit

Young World Day School, Not-for-Profit Providing a standard of educational excellence in academic and practical life in a learning environment designed to nurture your child's love of learning.

At Young World Day School, a not for profit school serving Bergen, Passaic and Rockland Counties, we believe an outstanding Pre-k through grade 5 private school should be dedicated to the educational advancement and personal growth of every child. That's why we have created an educational environment that ties instruction and expectations to each student's abilities, rather than their chronological age. To realize this, multi-graded classrooms play important roles in our Primary School. In grades Kindergarten through 5, a rotating multi-year curriculum delivers open-ended, diversified assignments designed to suit each child. In addition, by assigning a teacher and an assistant to each Kindergarten class - and at least two certified teachers to each of the older classes - we can provide every student with individualized learning experience necessary to take their education to even higher levels. From our Traditional and Montessori Pre-School programs to our Primary School curriculum, each student cultivates the skills needed to succeed on his or her own terms - and establishes a love of learning each will carry throughout life.

Happy Giving Tuesday, Young World families, friends, and alumni! 💖

Giving Tuesday is a global day dedicated to supporting the organizations that make a difference. As you consider your end-of-year donations, we hope you’ll keep Young World Day School—a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)—in mind. Every contribution directly supports enriching programs for our students, including music, Spanish, yoga, soccer, and computer classes. All donations are fully tax-deductible.

You can give by clicking the “Donate Now” button at www.youngworlddayschool.org or by sending a check made payable to Young World Day School. Every gift, in any amount, makes an impact. If you’re unable to donate today, a share goes a long way too.

Thank you for your support—today and every day! Wishing you a happy and healthy holiday season! 💖

🎃🍁 Pumpkin Patch Fun at Young World! 🍁🎃

Our preschoolers had an amazing time exploring our very own Pumpkin Patch earlier this week! 🧡 From picking their perfect pumpkins to learning all about fall, it was a day full of smiles, giggles, and autumn magic. 🍂

A huge thank you to the Jaffa family for their generous pumpkin donation! Your kindness and continued support mean so much to our YWDS community. Once part of the Young World family, always part of our family! 🧡

A huge thank-you to all our amazing parents and families who joined us for our annual YWDS Costume Parade and Trunk or Treat! 🧡 The creativity, costumes, and decorated trunks were absolutely spook-tacular! 👻🚗🍬

Your support and participation make events like this so special for our little ones — the smiles and laughter said it all. 😊 We’re so grateful for our wonderful Young World community!
