The second resource I want to share is a website/app for Lent. I found this on my parish website and shared it with a friend who had led me to the Dynamic Catholic for last year's Lenten practice.. She shared that the man behind the app had gone to school with her son, graduated, and got the dream job with cash and prizes. He walked away from it all to create this amazingly inviting platform to guide us through the Lenten Experience. Give it a try, touching music, prayer, mediation, sermons. The link through the parish will give you a free lent experience.
Peace and Love, Namaste 🙏

Take a break, take a breath, and talk to God. Find peace in paryer this year with Hallow, the #1 Catholic app.

It's been over 2 years since I posted here. I continue to seek through yoga, prayer, and meditation that place where I can "Be Still and Know" In this place of stillness or pause I find peace and often the whisper of the Holy Spirit. It may be just resting in the knowledge that I am ok, you are ok, each of us children of God. I have been blessed to be surrounded by so many ways to practice coming back to this place despite the chaotic life and world around me that tells me scary lies.
I wanted to share two resources that I have found. This first post is about a dear friend Karen Dillon has been my yoga teacher for many years now. Through her teachings, she has created and held an inviting space in which I find this rest and opportunity to be led by the Spirit's promptings. I know many of you have expressed a longing for this type of teaching. You do not need to be an expert Yogi. Karen's classes support all levels. They have been a lifeline for me through the more difficult times as they lead me back to my experience of a loving guiding presence in which I can rest and trust in. You can explore what she has to offer at https://www.karendillon.me/. https://www.karendillon.me/. May it bring you the peace, rest, and increased faith it brings me ❤️🙏❤️

I haven’t posted here in so long. I miss our prayerful practices and have been searching for other similar platforms. I came across this YouTube practice that I have really enjoyed. I encourage you to try it, always honoring how your body speaks to you, and following this beautiful internal guidance. When I move inward to this quiet stillness of the breath and a posture I am also open to that intuitive guidance of the Spirit. Peace in your hearts ❤️🙏❤️

Christians Practicing Yoga
New class Monday 's @6:30 with Catherine Byron

I am so excited to welcome Catherine Byron to our wonderful community of Christians practicing yoga. Over ten years ago, she was teaching my first yoga class that combined the yoga postures with our Christian faith. She planted the seeds that have grown into Prayerful Poses Yoga and this unique practice of prayer that we share. I know you will love her class. She has extensive knowledge of the body and many forms of fitness. See her info below for more details. She is an amazing teacher who looks forward to sharing her faith as you explore strengthening your body, mind and spirit.

Catherine will be starting an 8 week series on Monday nights at 6:30pm at the First Presbyterian Barn in Ramsey. Please email [email protected] to get more information and let her know you are interested.

What a great practice this morning! I promised to share this reflection and song. May we feed the wolf of gratitude and cheer! May we let the light of the Spirit shine! May we choose again and again to be happy and grateful amidst adversity.
