Meet Bianca Grande '16 '21, the Graduate Programs Student Speaker for the Class of 2021! "I remember seeing Ramapo's campus for the first time and knowing in my heart that that's where I would spend my next four years as an Undergraduate student. My time in those four years were filled with such amazing people and experiences that when I considered going back to school for my Graduate degree, the only school I even applied to was Ramapo. This college and the amazing professors that teach here pushed me everyday to be better and to grow, and for that I will be forever grateful.
When I graduated with my Bachelor's in 2016, I thought my journey as a Roadrunner was over. Yet, here I am again in 2021, now graduating with my Master's. I'm not sure what the future holds, but I'm sure this is more of a 'See you Later, Ramapo' rather than a 'Goodbye'.
If you find yourself on a similar journey pursuing your dreams at RCNJ, do so with an open heart - things may seem challenging at times, but you can do it!" - Bianca Grande '16 '21 earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Ramapo College and is graduating with a Master of Arts in Special Ed.

Meet Ashley Mathew '21, the Undergraduate Student Speaker for the Class of 2021! “My overall time at Ramapo was something I never expected. I started out as a shy, timid girl and now I am an empowered, confident woman. Ramapo pushed me to go out of my comfort zone, to find my voice, and that is the best thing to have happened to me. I entered many roles as an active student leader on campus that built me up to who I am today. I started in Alpha Lambda Delta, the first-year honor society, then secretary and now president of the Ramapo College Students of Caribbean Ancestry (SOCA) club, and lastly, this semester I became a proud sister of Lambda Tau Omega Sorority, Incorporated.
I’m glad I chose Ramapo because I was able to open doors that I never thought I would have had the chance to. My advice for fellow/future Roadrunners would be to take the initiative and advocate for yourself. There are so many resources for us and doors to open, as long as you confidently take the first step to keep pushing forward!" - Ashley Mathew '21 is graduating with a BS in Biology in the Physical Therapy track. Her goal is to earn a Master's in Physical Therapy. www.ramapo.edu/commencement/
