Around the World recap! 🌎

The countries we highlighted this week during program were India, Pakistan, Italy, China, and Costa Rica.

Elementary decorated stuffed animals to remind them to stay calm when they feel overwhelmed, and our teens did a financial budgeting activity to learn how to create monthly budgets depending on the job they chose in the packet.

🥳 We're excited to launch a brand-new tradition this school year at MAYC called Magnificent Mondays! Every Monday after school, local businesses, organizations, and community groups will have the opportunity to welcome our After the Bell students as they arrive at the clubhouse and lead an activity with our students.

It's a simple way to make a big impact, helping kids feel seen, encouraged, and excited to start their week while also getting your group some exposure within the community. ❤️

Training Day! We have spent this past week refreshing our staff on our policies, procedures, and expectations for this upcoming school year of After the Bell programming.

We are implementing new techniques and teaching staff new skills to help staff and students communicate more effectively.
