Miigwech to acclaimed Ojibwe authors and educators Betsy Albert-Peacock and Thomas Peacock for joining us for Stories That Teach at White Earth Tribal and Community College.

Their powerful readings and thoughtful conversation highlighted the importance of Indigenous-authored texts.

To better serve all participants, the Adult Learner and High School Student sessions have been combined into one program week, which will take place:

Miigwech apichii to everyone who joined us at White Earth Tribal and Community College for the screening of Unraveling the Ribbon. It was a meaningful evening of community, storytelling, and cultural connection as we explored the deep cultural and political significance of the ribbon skirt.

We were especially honored to feature WETCC Sewing Instructor Beverly St. John, who shared her knowledge and personal experiences surrounding the history and meaning of the ribbon skirt.

The journey continues! Community sewing workshops will be held in Bev's Sewing Room (Azaadi):
