According to Harvard University's Center on the Developing Child, "executive functioning and self-regulation skills are the mental processes that enable us to plan, focus attention, remember instructions, and juggle multiple tasks successfully." At Ivy Kids, we seamlessly integrate these vital skills into our curriculum by providing your child with engaging activities and opportunities to interact with their teachers and peers. From adhering to daily schedules, fostering routine, and participating in group instruction, to exploring learning materials individually and engaging in open-ended conversations that promote flexible thinking, we lay the foundation for your child's future success. Using age-appropriate strategies, we empower children to self-regulate, recognize emotions in themselves and others, and navigate through big feelings with resilience. We believe that executive functioning is key to lifelong success, and that's why we start early, building these essential skills in our young learners.
