For us, music is not an “extra”, it is an important part of how children learn, connect, and express themselves.

Our music classes begin by building a strong foundation. Through rhythm, repetition, melody, movement, and singing together, children naturally develop the skills they will later use to play instruments, read music, and understand how music works.

Before learning notes on a page or picking up an instrument, we want children to feel music, to recognize a beat, follow a rhythm, hear a melody, use their voices, and experience the joy of making music together.

These simple, joyful experiences are where real musicianship begins, giving children the confidence and foundation to grow into more advanced musical learning over time.

Our 6 weeks of weaving, looping & sewing have officially begun! 🧵🪡🤍

Over the next few weeks, our 1st–4th graders will be learning to sew both by hand and with a sewing machine.

Today was our first class, and everyone made their very first stitches, starting with the letters of their own names! It was so sweet to see them learning something new and creating with their hands. ✨

Each child will be working on their own special project, and every class will also create a group project together.

Stay tuned to see all the beautiful things they create along the way!

Introducing After-School Adventures at Woodlands Forest School! 🌲🍃

We’re excited to offer students a fun, active, and enriching way to spend their afternoons with activities designed to keep them moving, creating, exploring, and having fun with friends.

🌿 Adventure Hour | 2:00–3:00 PM
A structured enrichment session with rotating activities including sports, outdoor games, arts & crafts, team games, nature activities, creative projects, and more.

🌿 Extended Care | 3:00–4:00 PM
A more relaxed session with supervised games, outdoor play, creative activities, and plenty to do throughout the hour.

Pricing:
• $20 per child, per session/hour
• $85 per child for a full Monday–Friday weekly package
• Shorter school weeks will be offered at a reduced weekly rate
