1st place!! 🥇 Thank you to those who volunteered their time to make it happen! Amanda Blanchard, Whitney Henderson, Erica Gooden, Robin Watkins, Kensleigh Watkins, Kristin Hawkins, Meleah Blanchard! ❤️❤️❤️ And thank you to Aaron & Tiffany Hearnsberger for letting us use your trailer again, and Toby Blanchard for driving us in the parade!

Sometimes I wonder when something I love became something I feel like I have to compete to protect.

After the parade, a little 6-year-old who danced with me before moving to another studio this year saw me, ran straight to me, jumped into my arms and hugged me. She didn’t know she was on a “different team” now. She just knew me. ❤️

Kids don’t care about competition. They remember who loved them, who made them feel special and who made them love dance.

Maybe I needed a 6-year-old to remind me of that. ❤️🥺😭
