Very excited for our Decimal Diner math review tomorrow to prep for our math test of Friday. We will work our way through the appetizer round up, main course menu, strip diagram sides and end it with some decimal dessert.

Some of my class was challenged to extend their knowledge of comparing and ordering decimals. Who doesn’t love a good deep dive into baseball stats. Let’s go !

Parents helped fund our awesome bead project to memorize the order of the planets. We squeezed this in right before our Texas sized five day snow weekend. So many of my kids were excited to come back and share that they know the order of the planets now. Love getting to share in their excitement with them.

New year, new grade.

Day One: changing grade levels also meant changing hallways. Today I just wanted to focus on getting furniture moved around and in place. Feels much better just getting the big items moved into place. This is all that is happening until we officially return to school on August 1st.

Day one of before and after. Happy about how much I accomplished on day one despite sitting in the dark for over an hour because the power went out. Did I mention the AC did not come back on too? It was getting hot in there!
