2026 UIL 6A Region III Swim Team Announcement

This past weekend, the MagWest Varsity Swim team competed at the regional level at Laura Wilkinson Natatorium in Shenandoah, TX.

After facing 8 teams in the District 15-6A meet on January 24, MagWest advanced to regionals, where they swam against 22 teams. Their strong performance earned them a spot in Saturday's finals.

Congratulations to Freshman Mia Short, Juniors Melony Wooley and Sofia Sanchez, and Senior Josie Nañez for qualifying for the Girls 400 Yard Freestyle Relay, and thanks to all swimmers and coaches for their dedication.
