Texas Autism Academy Our Mission is to raise awareness of and expand access to educational opportunities for children with Autism and their families.

We want to provide families educational choices that are currently unavailable to them. Texas Autism Academy provides K-12th grade education to the Magnolia, TX area.

Our Seniors put their knowledge to work with some field work today. The SHSU and SHSU Autism Unites partnership kicked off their first lab the semester. We collected water from the retention pond behind TAA. They made observations about the quality of the water. They tested the pH of their collection and observed any living organisms under a microscope.
This is the first of many labs that will be used to present at the SHSU Symposium later the spring of 2027.

We are excited to recognize one of our seniors, Evan, as our October Student of the Month!

This month’s character trait is Respect, and Evan does a wonderful job demonstrating what respect looks like each day. He shows kindness and consideration toward his teachers, staff, and classmates and helps create a positive environment at school.

Evan, thank you for being a great example to others and for showing us that respect matters.

Today we recognize Ms. Kaylie as our October Staff Member of the Month!

Kaylie is a dedicated and hardworking educator who consistently shows an eagerness to learn and grow. She engages with all students, creating meaningful connections and making sure they feel supported.

Kaylie is also a wonderful team player who is always willing to support her fellow staff members wherever she is needed. Her hard work, positive attitude, and commitment to our students and team do not go unnoticed.
