Yerger Middle School in Hope, Arkansas, has an immediate opening for a 7th Grade English Language Arts teacher!

🍎 Position: 7th Grade ELA
🏫 School: Yerger Middle School
📍 Location: Hope, Arkansas

ELA certification is preferred, but candidates who are currently certified in another content area and are willing to pursue ELA certification are encouraged to apply. Instructional support will be provided to help the selected teacher be successful in the position.

This could be a wonderful opportunity for a recent graduate, current educator looking for a new position, or someone ready to make a difference in the lives of middle school students!

Dr. Waters serves as a Clinical Faculty Site Coordinator, where she makes a meaningful impact through her daily interactions with our candidates. She provides coaching, encouragement, and a passion for education that inspires candidates as they prepare to enter the field. Dr. Waters also brings energy, enthusiasm, and dedication to our Site Coordinator team.

As another school year gets underway, we’re celebrating more of our Rider Residency interns as they begin another important step in their journey to becoming educators!

A special shoutout to our interns in Ashdown, El Dorado, Hampton, and Hope as they begin or continue their residency experience. Some have already been hard at work, while others are just getting started—but each day brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact.

Lean on your mentors, ask questions, embrace the experience, and remember, you are making a difference from day one. We’re excited to watch you grow this year!

As another school year gets underway, we're celebrating our Rider Residency interns who are already making a difference in classrooms!
Some of our interns began their residency a few weeks ago, while others are just starting as students return this week. A special shoutout to our interns in Texarkana (TASD), Magnolia, Hampton, and Camden as they continue this exciting journey.
This year will be filled with learning, growth, challenges, and countless moments that remind you why you chose to become an educator. Lean on your mentors, embrace every opportunity to learn, and remember—you are making an impact from day one.
