We are getting SO excited for our Fall Festival tomorrow at Pride Elementary! ❤️💙 Check out these amazing raffle baskets put together by our grade-level teams and clubs! There is something for everyone, and you won’t want to miss your chance to win!

We are so thankful for our amazing Deaf and Hard of Hearing teacher, Melynda Wyatt! 💙 Mrs. Wyatt has been working with Mrs. Enright’s second grade students to introduce them to American Sign Language (ASL), and the students have absolutely loved learning from her!
She makes learning ASL fun, engaging, and meaningful while helping our students understand the importance of communication, inclusion, and celebrating differences. Our students look forward to every opportunity to learn new signs and practice what they’ve learned.
We are so lucky to have Mrs. Wyatt sharing her time, knowledge, and kindness with our classroom. She truly is the best, and we appreciate all she does for our students! 🫶🏼🤟🏼

Registration for Winter Swim Season is now open! Whether your swimmer is chasing new goals, building confidence, or simply loves being in the water, the Hurricanes offer an exciting opportunity to grow, compete, have fun, and develop lifelong skills. Come be part of a team that encourages every swimmer to dive in, work hard, and shine!

Hopkins County Hurricanes Youth Swim Team is for swimmers ages 5 and up. All swimmers will complete an assessment and be placed in swim groups based on swim ability.

It’s time for Governor’s Cup Academic Team Tryouts! 🎉 Students interested in joining the team will have the opportunity to showcase their knowledge in math, language arts, social studies, science, the arts, and writing.

📅 Tryout Week: October 19–23
💻 When: During school Computer Lab Specials
🏆 Team Announcement: Wednesday, October 28th

Please remember that Governor’s Cup is a competitive team that requires dedication, responsibility, and teamwork. Previous experience, classroom performance, and behavior will be considered when selecting the final team for the 2026–2027 season.

Tomorrow is the LAST day to help support our grade levels/clubs with their raffle baskets! Help make each basket a success as we get ready for our Fall Festival! All money raised will go directly back to the grade level or club hosting the basket. Thank you so much to everyone who has already donated and helped support this fundraiser! ❤️💙
