And just like that, Awards Day and Graduation is over for the 25-26 school year. We are so proud of all our CCA students! It’s now officially Summer Break! ☀️ We hope our students and their families have a wonderful summer making memories together!

We hope all mothers enjoyed their Mother’s Day and felt appreciated, celebrated, and loved for all they do each and every day. 💐❤️ We have had a busy week at school filled with testing, crafts, Kindergarten’s ABC countdown, plus activities for Cinco De Mayo and Derby Day. We also had a guest speaker for our science classes to discuss more about the human body with them. We only have 8 days left in the school year! 🎉📚 Let’s finish strong, make great memories with our themed review days, and enjoy these final days together of this school year. Summer break is almost here! ☀️

A huge thank you to all of our teachers, staff, and parent volunteers who helped make our Dancing Under the Stars family dance such a great event! ⭐️✨It was an amazing night to see many of our students and their families come together, enjoy the music, eat the delicious food, and create unforgettable memories. From the laughter to the food to the dancing, the whole evening was truly special.

Welcome back, CCA students! We hope all of our families had a wonderful, restful spring break filled with great memories. We are so excited to see everyone this morning and hear about all of our friends’ adventures! Now it’s time to refocus, reconnect, and dive back in. 📚 Let’s finish the school year out strong! 🩵🦅

✨21-Day Kindness Challenge ✨
Small actions make a big difference. A smile. A compliment. An encouraging word. What if we treated others the way we want to be treated — every single day? What if we paused to think and ask WWJD before we speak or act? Imagine the impact if every student committed to spreading positivity for 21 days straight! 🌟 Research shows it takes 21 days to build a habit — let’s make kindness our habit. Each day builds awareness, compassion, and connection.

For 21 school days, we’re challenging our students to choose kindness on purpose. That means:
✔️ Speaking with respect
✔️ Including others
✔️ Offering help without being asked
✔️ Listening without interrupting
✔️ Being patient when waiting our turn or sharing
✔️Giving genuine compliments and using encouraging words
✔️Be kind and forgiving to ourselves also as self-kindness makes it easier to extend grace to others

The students are writing in a Kindness Journal daily to reflect on the kindness shown each day and then making a paper chain link for each act of kindness. We will link the paper chains together at the end of our 21-Day Kindness Challenge. Stay tuned to see how long our Kindness Chain becomes! 🔗

❤️One of the first big acts of kindness by our K-1 friends was to help a friend adjust to having new glasses. The first day our friend wore his new glasses to school, the whole class supported him and wore new glasses with him so that he was not alone in this transition.
