Luke Slabaugh passed his GED today! 👏📚

Just three weeks ago, Luke came to Adult Education needing his GED to earn a certification for his job. He studied, stayed focused, and got it done!

His advice to anyone thinking about starting or finishing their GED? “Just do it!” 💪

🎉 BIG NEWS! Alexa Wallace just passed her GED! 🎉

Alexa first came to us in June and studied for a couple of weeks before life got in the way. But she didn’t give up! She came back last week, and in just ONE WEEK, Alexa earned her GED! 🙌📚

Now, Alexa has her sights set on the next step. She plans to attend Madisonville Community College through the You Make A Difference CNA Program to earn her CNA certification.

We know Alexa will be successful in whatever she chooses to do, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for her! 💙

Alexa also has a message for anyone who is thinking about starting their GED journey or needs to finish what they started:

“It’s not as hard as you think.”

Alexa, congratulations! We are so proud of you and all the hard work you put in. Your determination is an inspiration! 🎓👏

Cailey has been attending evening classes in Nortonville, and she had this to share: “Every small study session brings real success. If you can put your mind to it then you can do it. She said she believed she could so she did!”

🎓✨ Help us congratulate Jalyn Fox on earning her GED! ✨🎓

About a year ago, Jalyn came to us determined to earn her GED. She quickly passed all of the official GED tests—except Math. After taking about six months to study and prepare, Jalyn came back today and ACED her official GED Math test! 🎉🙌

We couldn’t be prouder of her for sticking with it and refusing to give up! ❤️

This fall, Jalyn will be attending TSPA Cosmetology School, and we can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes her. We know she has an incredible future ahead! 💇‍♀️✨

When asked what advice she would give to someone struggling with GED Math, Jalyn said:

💬 “Pray hard and think about how getting your GED can impact your future in a positive way. Failure just holds you back. You need to reach for what you want and don’t give up until you get it.”

What an amazing reminder that persistence pays off! 💪
