Congratulations to Kailee Hash on earning her GED!

It didn’t take Kailee very long to ace the official GED tests, and we couldn’t be more proud of her accomplishment. With her family preparing to move out of state in the next few weeks, Kailee is already planning for her future and has applied to cosmetology school in her new state.

When asked what advice she would give others considering earning their GED, Kailee shared:

“I would tell them not to stress too hard about it. You guys made it so easy and comfortable for me to get my GED and I feel like you guys really give the right tools to help make it a seamless process. I was so worried that it would be difficult and so stressful, but you guys treated me so well and didn’t make it feel like a burden or a long process.”

We are excited to see what Kailee’s future holds, and we know she will be successful in all that she does. Wishing her the very best as she begins this exciting new chapter!

We are incredibly proud of GED graduate Carlow Vincent! Carlow earned his GED in September 2025 and began college in Spring 2026. In just one semester at Madisonville Community College, he has already knocked it out of the park — Carlow was selected as Student of the Month for April 2026, the Outstanding First Year Experience and Music Student for the 2025–2026 academic year and will serve as Secretary on the MCC SGA Executive Board for 2026–2027.

Carlow’s hard work, determination, and commitment to his education are truly inspiring. We can’t wait to see what his future holds, but one thing is certain — he is destined for success! 👨‍🎓

Help us congratulate Cassidy Buhring who completed her GED today! Cassidy has been attending classes with us at the Dawson Springs Library and plans to enroll at Madisonville Community College to pursue Adult Peer Support Specialist then continue her education with a degree in the medical field.

For others needing to complete their GED, Cassidy has these words of encouragement, "Don't let fear or doubt stop you from chasing your dreams. Obtaining your GED is the beginning of a new chapter, a new journey. Be proud of yourself and your accomplishments."
