Christ the King Catholic School is a fully accredited PreK-5th grade Catholic school. At Christ the King, every child is valued, loved, and expected to achieve at the highest levels. Every day is filled with the love of God and a deepening understanding of faith. The school community is made up of students, teachers, administrator, staff, parents, and parishioners. It is a faithful community of Christians who come together to make Christ present in a special way. Our Mission: Christ the King is a vibrant, active Catholic ministry serving God by providing an exceptional faith-based education to the children of Madisonville, Kentucky and surrounding communities. To fulfill the mission of the school, the whole community must cooperate within a spirit of mutual respect, trust, and understanding. Our goal is to ensure that every child receives a challenging education, deepens their faith in God and their understanding of the Christian way of life, and enjoys their educational experience. There will be no school on Monday, September 7, 2026. The preschool and Learning and Growth center will also be closed. Please enjoy your Labor Day weekend, and we'll see everyone back at school on Tuesday, September 8.

There is still time for your student to join the Christ the King Catholic School family! We are a fully accredited 3/4-year-old preschool through 8th grade Catholic school. At Christ the King, we believe in the love, value, and encouragement of every child. We are committed to teaching the whole child, nurturing their spiritual growth, academic development, and fostering a sense of community through monthly community service projects.
