Tuesday throwback to Maydm summer!

Three unique programs, countless builds, and one unforgettable summer. Maydm students didn't just try new things - they built, launched, and created things they can genuinely be proud of.

🚀 Rocket Science (2 photos)→ sketch to launch program where students crafted their own rockets and made them fly! 🛠️ Stem Power and STEMinism (2 photos)→ hands-on design with code, crafting, and hardware to create a real working rovers! 💻 Web Design (2 photos) → blank screen to live site creation and collaboration with teammates and the community!

Our students showed up curious and left confident and we are SO proud and can not see where these interests take them in the future!

Our interns lit up the room today as we celebrated everything they've accomplished this summer! With Divine Majesty performing on the cello and exciting announcements from Dr. Shakkiah and the President of TruStage, it was a day full of joy and community.

A special thank you to TruStage for donating the beautiful event space, and to Lennise and Asia for organizing such a memorable celebration.

We also shared some exciting news: the launch of our MORE Campaign and the new AI Tech Hub Institute, both aimed at creating even more opportunities for future interns and our community.

Congratulations to our incredible 2026 interns. We can't wait to see where you go next!

This event was packed with awesome presentations, exciting announcements, and community all around! As our Future Focused Session 2 students wrap up their final week, they finished off the program by designing, building, and launching their own rockets! 🚀 This hands-on activity brought together everything they've learned throughout the session, from creating paper airplanes to launching rockets outside. We are so proud of the effort and creativity these students brought! 💜

Creators lab students presented their final projects last week! All summer our Creator Lab students were able to research, develop, and create an exiting project. Each student came up with unique, informative, exciting, and even interactive projects.

The Sunnybot was a interactive robotic project, fully coded and designed to give emotional support to its user! The Sunnybot was one of many awesome projects made by the students of Creators Lab!

This program was so much fun and we are so impressed with the creativity of these Maydm Students!
