Meet one of our current studying away this summer!
🦡 Ashlie Hewett, senior ()
Major: Psychology
Study Away Program: UW Creative Careers in Hollywood
Ashlie will be taking over the Instagram stories this Thursday, June 25, from California! 🇺🇸
💬 "The UW Creative Careers in Hollywood appealed to me as someone with a passion for the entertainment industry (specifically film) and will be going to graduate school at the Wisconsin School of Business in fall 2026 to obtain a master's in digital analytics with a specialized track in digital marketing. This program fit all of my personal and professional interests in one. This program will allow me to diversify my professional network and elevate my skills that will one day make me a standout candidate for future opportunities post-grad.
"On this program, I hope to learn all the behind-the-scenes details in the entertainment industry through opportunities such as being mentored directly by a UW alumnus in Hollywood, shadowing, and hands-on experiences. I have never been to California, so it's exciting to be given the chance to go and simultaneously to learn what makes it the entertainment capital of the world."
