At Monroe Street Arts Center, we engage a community of learners in exploring the arts and developing the creative self; instruct toddlers to teens in music and art; provide need-based scholarships through the Claire Aubrey Roberts Scholarship Fund (donations are tax deductible); and host Claire's Event, Arty Gras and the MSAC Playathon to raise funds for MSAC student scholarships.

Big news, Monroe Street family! 🎉👏

Julia Nicholas is officially our new Executive Director, and we cannot wait for you to meet her!

20+ years in arts administration. A Bolz Center grad. A decade leading development at Forward Theater Company. Marketing leadership at Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis. Julia has spent her career doing one thing brilliantly: bringing people and art together.

Now she's bringing that passion to MSAC. Welcome, Julia!

💛 And with that, our summer camp season comes to a close!

What a season it's been. We've loved watching this community create, imagine, and grow together all summer long.

None of this would be possible without you: our incredible campers and their equally incredible grown-ups, our dedicated instructors, our generous volunteers, and every helping hand that showed up along the way. Thank you for filling our studios with so much creativity and joy.
