The performances will be at 7:00 pm this Friday and Saturday (Dec 7th & 8th) as well as next weekend (Dec 14th & 15th). Hi everyone! West Drama’s production of “Seussical” is almost here! The show opens at 7pm on March 2 with performances on the 3rd, 9th, and 10th too! Doors will open at 6:30 each night. You can purchase tickets for $10 each online at www.eventbrite.com or at the door. Hope to see you there!

!!! PSA !!! Next Monday is not a short Monday; therefore, all auditions have been moved back an hour! For example: 2:10 slot should come at 3:10.

It’s that time! Musical audition sheets are up on the theater board! We’ll see you all next Monday and Tuesday!

The school musical for this year has been changed to “Seussical”. This change was made in order to provide more ensemble roles and numbers. We realize that many of you have been preparing for “Shrek: The Musical”, keep in mind that the style of both musicals is similar and you will not have to change audition pieces. We are dedicated and looking forward to putting on a wonderful show! See you all at auditions!

Madison Professional Dance Center will be hosting a musical theater dance class this summer. It will consist of ballet, jazz and tap. They will also offer these classes individually this summer as well. Other studios in the area: dance out loud, synergy, monona academy. The musical will have dance and tap!

Actors interested in auditioning for the 2017 school play, Noises Off, please prepare a 1-2min comedic monologue. Auditions will be in the theater room oct 9&10 after school. Call backs oct 11 after school. You have to audition to be considered. Sign ups will be posted end of Sept on theater board. Also there is a movie version of the film which I highly suggest watching.

The musical next year will be Shrek. There is tap so please be sure to take tap classes over the summer. You can also find the filmed Broadway show on Netflix.

We are having our last theater club meeting for this year today! It is in the auditorium at lunch. Anyone who has been apart of our play, musical, or FAW this year is welcome to come. If you have them, wear your show shirt if you want to. Hope to see you there!
