It was an honor to be invited to exhibit the library's collection of African commemorative fabrics at SoHE during reception for the Mandela Washington Fellows in conjunction with A Diverse Continent: African Textiles in Context at the Lynn Mecklenburg Gallery.
Many thanks to Lesley Sabakinu, Metycia Bengmo, Carolyn Kallenborn, Miriam Campos, and Liese Pfeifer who masterfully helped me mount this exhibit to showcase this significant aspect of African history and society.
