Aspiring Educators of Wisconsin, UW-Madison Chapter We provide as many opportunities as we can to students of all disciplines at all grade levels, to help them become the best educators they can be.

Aspiring Educators of UW Madison is designed to help students make connections with future colleagues and peers, reach out into the community, and develop as professionals outside of the classroom. Our organization exists to provide students in teacher education programs with a comprehensive understanding of the historical and current issues pertaining to public education. Members of Aspiring Educ

ators of Wisconsin will gain a greater knowledge of the education profession, grow individually and professionally as well as be better prepared to actively participate within their career.

This weekend, our Aspiring Educators exec board attended the May Board of Directors (BOD) meeting! During this meeting, our chapter received several awards (yay!)

- The Local Chapter Excellence Award
- The Innovation and Growth Award
- Our president, Kate Meyer, won the Dedicated Student Leader Award
